Since 1906, thousands of tourists have enjoyed the scenic beauty of the St. Croix River’s world-famous Dalles by boat excursion.

What’s included

The Twilight Cruise with Taylors Falls Boat Tours offers a delightful evening on the St. Croix River. The experience includes wine tasting from Winehaven Winery before departing for a live music performance by CharlieO. What a fantastic way to experience the St. Croix River.

What’s not included

Our snack bar will be open for beer, wine, soda, lemonade, charcuterie trays, sandwiches, chips, and candy.

Wine Tasting: 

Founded as Chisago County’s first estate winery in 1995, Winehaven has become a cornerstone of Minnesota winemaking, producing highly acclaimed wines that capture the distinctive flavors of its vineyards and region. The Peterson family owns and operates the winery, representing four generations of stewardship to the land and five distinct vineyards in the Chisago Lakes Area. The region’s lakes and the area’s gentle southerly-sloping hillsides provide natural protection for the grapevine varieties. As a result, the fruit can ripen later in the season, creating wines with increased complexity and flavor development. Winehaven is recognized as one of the top award-winning wineries in the Upper Midwest, having won over 200 awards for winemaking excellence in New York and California wine competitions during the past 10 years.

Music Performers:

CharlieO* is a singer, pianist, 12-string guitarist, and songwriter who has been entertaining for over 30 years on The Taylors Falls Riverboats. His extensive song list ranges from the piano hits of Billy Joel, Elton John, Styx, and Bob Seger to guitar ballads of John Denver, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Johnny Cash, and John Prine. Charlie has sung the national anthem for the Twins, Vikings, Gopher Football, Basketball, and Baseball & Special Olympics.  He is also half of the ACES 88’s Dueling Pianos team. Cheers! CharlieO will perform on August 2, 9th, September 20, 27th, and October 11th. 

Steve Poynter is a singer-songwriter based in Scandia, MN. He performs solo and in a duo called “Praire Anthem.” He performs many original songs but covers many songs for all ages. His sweet spot is 70’s singer-songwriter ballads from Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Bob Dylan, etc. He also covers Willie Nelson and other older country tunes.It mixes in some blues as well – something for everyone! Steve will be performing on July 26th and August 16th.

Mark Kuefler and Dan Birdsall form the duo Too Square. They have been friends and musical-playing partners for over 40 years and have an extensive repertoire of music in various genres. Their musical influences stem from the acoustic sounds and harmonies of groups like America, CSNY, James, and Simon and Garfunkel, to name a few. Too Square will be performing on October 4th. 

Boarding will begin 30 minutes before departure time.
